Psycho Maid!!!

Going off the beaten track a little here....

It appears we have a little problem concerning the maid.
As you recall, Katie called the agency to cancel their services.

However.....

Either this guy hasn't been contactable...
... or he's suddenly become a stalker....

.... for Rhonda.




- What are you doing here?
- Working.
- I thought we'd cancelled your services.
- Did you? Did you really?
- Uh huh, now if you don't mind..... we've got a birthday party to plan.
- You're not getting rid of me THAT easily.... Rhonda.

Um. O-kay.

Yep, even after Katie made that call, each day, at different times through the day, he turns up to clean.

And then he breaks the dishwasher, causing a mess all over.




- You haven't seen the last of me yet..... Some day your nanny will be gone.... then you shall be in need of my services once again!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA



Riiiiiiiiight......


I'm not sure whether to feel sorry for him.... or fear for this family!!!!!

Joshua - Demon Spawn or Just Misunderstood?

As you can see, Alice has literally stolen everybody's hearts with her cuteness.
So, I thought, for a change, I'd show you her kid brother Joshua.

Who is the complete opposite of Alice.
Truly.

There are days when he is the picture of pure innocence.
Like today, when he sits quietly in his high chair, waiting for his dinner.



And then there are days when....
... umm....
... well...

... his temper shows up and he throws MAJOR hissy fits.

GET ME OUT OF THIS PLASTIC PRISON AND I'LL SHOW ALL YOU MINDLESS CREATURES JUST HOW BAD I CAN REALLY BE!!!!

NOW!!!




Porridge dear?

Oh, don't mind if I do, ta .. nanny!!!

Oh Katie knows how to get around him and deal with his tantrums.

Sometimes.

Even a snuggle can become a painful experience for this hard working nanny.

GRRRR.... RIPPING YOUR HAIR OUT BY THE ROOTS..... MINION OF MY SUPER WORLD!!!




Take it easy there junior, you're just getting your baby teeth through. Don't want to lose them this soon.




And then he's developed 'the look'.




The withering stare that he thinks nobody has seen. And uses it to great effect when he's anywhere near Alice.




Although Alice is completely oblivious to his actions. She's too busy playing with her toys. Or in a little world of her own.




His expressions change constantly... making him very hard to read.
One minute he looks evil.
The next he's happy and smiling.



Methinks Hot Headed would be more appropriate for this child.

Say 'Hello' to Nanny Katie

Yep, they decided to get themselves a nanny (the game doesn't have one, so I had to make some 'minor' adjustments here).



Her name is Katie

Here are her traits:

Frugal
Neat
Perfectionist
Natural Cook
Family-Oriented

She loves the colour orange
Loves French music
and her favourite food is .... Fruit Parfait

She's an elderly spinster, but not really looking for love or a relationship at this point. Her main goal is to become a Culinary Librarian as she has a passion for cooking and is happy to share her recipes with anybody who is willing to listen.

She arrived as an unexpected guest, on Joshua's birthday and settled into her family routine almost immediately.

Sampling the birthday cake, whilst casting a 'motherly' eye over Alice going to potty all by herself.




Clearing up after herself whilst Rhonda made a fuss over Joshua.





Oh yes, you can tell that Rhonda definitely favours Joshua over Alice.





But that's understandable, considering how Gareth fusses over Alice.

One thing though.... Nanny Katie approves of everything. Alice was busy playing with the dollhouse that Gareth had purchased, and Katie nodded in appreciation.



Whilst Rhonda and Gareth retired for the rest of the day to catch up on their sleep, Katie set about her nanny duties.

First thing she did was to cancel the Maid.




After all, they didn't need him, now that she was there. And it was saving them a lot of money too, something else she was pretty fond of.

Also, he'd gotten to the stage that he was now preening himself in front of the mirror.




Um..... o-kay.

Then she made a fuss of both Alice and Joshua before feeding them and keeping them clean.




Oh, and potty training Joshua too.





Nothing is too much trouble for her. Not at all.
Whilst the two toddlers were playing together with the dollhouse,





Katie had a little time to sit and watch her favourite cooking channel.

**SIDE NOTE**

I'm seriously considering using Evil as a trait for Joshua, as this picture shows....





rar!!! Gonna destroy these minions one by one by biting their purile putrid little wooden heads off!!!! Nobody is gonna tell ME what to do.

Renovations Galore

As I hinted in the last update, there was a jolly good reason why Joshua didn't have an 'all out' party.

FINALLY, after months of waiting, haggling and practically begging..... the insurers finally relented and gave Gareth the payout he needed for the house. And what a substantial amount it was too. A WHOPPING 50,000 Simoleans (yeah I know, I cheated and used Motherlode but meh, it's a story now, and no longer the challenge) It was enough for a complete an utter makeover.

So, it was goodbye to the old home and hello to the new.

Builders came in and checked out the walls, foundations and other structural areas and declared that it wasn't a complete bulldoze event. They could knock down and expand critical areas....

.... and.... they even mentioned something about the existing structure being that solid, that they could have another floor built on!!!!

That pleased Gareth no end, as it meant that their kids could have their own rooms now, and if anybody wished to stay over, there'd be a guest room too.

So, without further ado, and very little in the way of interruption in family life... The builders set to and created a 'dream home'.



The living room was expanded, to make way for a separate study area.



The kitchen was expanded.



Alice's old nursery and the downstairs bathroom were knocked through, to make way for a dining area and kiddies play area.




Gareth and Rhonda's original bedroom was kept downstairs and revamped, making it bigger, with a newly renovated and re-modelled bathroom en-suite.





Upstairs, Alice's room was brightly decorated in her favourite colour PINK.




Joshua's in his favourite colour.... VIOLET.



The guest bedroom was decorated in bright sunny yellows and oranges (more about that in the next update)




And the 2nd bathroom/shower room was decorated in more muted, earthy colours.




There was access to both front and rear verandas.




And the gardens to the front, side and rear, were given a facelift too, with the vegetable garden being fenced off,



the driveway being tarmacked over, some nice plants and bushes to give the place that 'welcoming' feeling.....




And a small pond in the rear, just in case anybody fancied a spot of fishing.




All in all, a wonderfully spectacular renovation.






And just in time for our latest arrival into the family too.... (which explains the solitary figure standing in the front garden)
