I was going to write something really witty here, but alas.... nothing came to mind, so I'll just share some pics with you instead.
Yep, it's that time again, when a Sim transitions up to the next stage of their lives.
And it was Alice's turn this time.
I was hoping for another birthday party, with a PINK theme (as that's her favourite colour).
However, as I was soo excited to see how she'd grow up.....
... I totally forgot all about organising a birthday party.
So it was just Alice, her parents, 'nanny' Katie and lil bro Joshua.
But still, it was quite an event anyway.
Whilst Joshua ignored the whole shebang by playing with the xylophone (and throwing dirty glances across at his big sis),
... everybody gathered to see Alice transition.
Rhonda gathered Alice in her arms and helped to blow out the candles.
Whilst Gareth and Katie stood to one side, happy
- no, make that ecstatic.... that Alice was growing up so well.
Then the transition began.
With a swirl of sparklies.....
...... CHILD Alice was born.....
And with a little makeover....
(green really DOES suit her, don't you think?)
.... isn't she pretty?
So, they gathered together to eat their slices of cake......
Now isn't this a nice family gathering huh?
Exhausted, Alice retires to bed.... (to her nicely refurbished and redecorated bedroom).
At the same time, Gareth and Rhonda rekindled their passion for one another.
Altogether now.....
... awwwwww
**PLEASE NOTE**
Yep, you may have noticed.... Rhonda was a little 'unconventional' with her dress sense, wearing her underwear all through Alice's transition and beyond.
But that's 'our' Rhonda for you.....
... unconventional.
I also realise that some pics have been repeated from a previous blog update. That WAS intentional, as they tied in with this update anyway.
