6 Sims Under One Roof, Please Tell Me I'm Not Insane!!!

It's suddenly struck me. There are now officially.... SIX Sims living under one roof!!!
OMG!!!

I'm not insane... I'm not insane.... I'm NOT insane!!!

Anyways, silly moment over, and now back to the update.
Rhonda was still pissed off at the fact that she's far behind in her quest to achieve her LTW, Master Thief. So, after putting Timothy down for his nap, and getting a good night's sleep, she hopped onto the treadmill to lose those vital few inches off her waistline.

"I'll shed these pounds," I hear her grumbling, "if it darned well KILLS me. And I swear, I'm tying a knot in it too."

Gareth in the meantime, realises that the workload of Nanny Katie's has just increased, so he decides to get up early and start dinner for .... himself. He feels it's necessary to only cater for himself. That way if it burns badly, he's not putting anybody else at risk.

I mean seriously. It's Fruit Parfait. What can POSSIBLY go wrong with Fruit Parfait???? It's not as if you can overcook the damned thing!!!

So, whilst Gareth's taken over the kitchen, let's check on everyone.
Katie is busy gathering the fruits and veggies from the garden. Oh my, that's quite a lot of trees and shrubs you've got there. One hell of a thriving garden to be honest with you.

Alice is concentrating on her painting skills. She's currently in her .... um... not quite sure WHAT 'mode' she's in judging by that dazzling array of colours there. Perhaps .... Pop Art - Sims style??

Needless to say, when it was completed, a private valuer checked it out and slapped on a 275 Simolean price tag - should she wish to sell it at some point. Being honest here though, I highly doubt she's wanting to sell ANY of her paintings ... yet. She's grown fond of each and every single one of them.

When Peter isn't waiting to be fed, or playing with his toys, he's sound asleep in his crib.

Speaking of which, Joshua isn't too happy with the sleeping arrangements. He feels he's stuck in a kindergarten dormitory and grumbles at the fact that Alice has her own room.

We've tried to reason with him and tell him it's just not right for Alice to share a room with her brothers. She'll be growing up soon and her own private space will be a higher priority.

I fear though, that Joshua is going through a mini crisis of his own.
Firstly, desperate for attention, he asks the maid (yes, they're still a-visiting) if she didn't mind playing catch with him. She thought he was cute, but had to decline as she was very busy (actually, it popped up that there wasn't enough room to play catch on the lot).

Then he approached his dad, who instantly freaked out, making Joshua wonder what the hell he'd done to deserve this family of his.

"All I want is a game of catch," he wonders glumly, "it's not much to ask now... is it?"

Kinda makes you feel sorry for the little fella, until you realise that under that innocence, there beats the heart of a nasty, evil little mind. Plus, one of his wishes is to Skip School. Starting to rebel at an early age now, isn't he? And I thought we'd have problems when he reached his teens!!!

Bored out of his wits he decided to go swimming at the local pool....
... in his pyjamas!!!

Um, yeah, never mind Rhonda and Gareth wishing for him to become a Genius, Eccentric... or Inappropriate is a better bet here.

He was hoping to see kids of his own age here, but was stuck with what he regarded the 'almost senile' group of folks. He hoped that at least one of them could teach him how to swim, but decided not to bother and plunged in anyways.

Good job too, he's a natural at it.

Wondering who this guy is?

Skip Broke.
Yep THAT guy, who was drowned in a swimming pool accident right at the beginning of Sims2.
Perhaps he should stay well away from these kinds of areas?

I almost forgot to tell you about Timothy.
His traits are:

Genius
Eccentric (tends to have very odd sleeping patterns, can sometimes sleep for a couple of hours, but then he'll fit in practically half a day without waking up)

Favourite Food: Cookies
Favourite Music: Egyptian
Favourite Colour: Blue

Star Sign: Virgo

Sorry, no pics yet, but here are a few gratuitous pics of Gareth and Peter....
altogether now.....

The World Welcomes .......

We left you with Rhonda in labour, screaming the place down and causing Nanny Katie to practically have a coronary. This is an elderly lady for goodness' sake, you can't just stand there and yell your head off. Plus, think of little Peter, sitting there waiting for his porridge. The poor kid's going to be seriously traumatized by all this.

Sims huh? Love em or hate em, they're certainly entertaining.

Anyways, Gareth's timing couldn't have been more apt here. He'd just literally finished work (and managed to throw off the cops at the same time), when he arrived home to find Rhonda already making her way out to the car.

"Water broke?"

"Yep."

"Suitcase packed?"

"Yep."

"Kids okay?"

"Yep."

As you can see, Rhonda's not very talkative today. More on that later.

"Anything else I need to know?"

"Scared Katie."

"Um, okay, well ... you make your way to the hospital whilst I go check on everyone."

"......"

Several hours later, both Gareth and Rhonda arrived home with their newest arrival....
Timothy.

Sorry for lack of pics, there are only so many times you can take hospital shots before the novelty wears off. Besides, I was busy back home with Nanny Katie fussing over Peter etc.
Joshua and Alice were safely tucked up in bed, sound asleep and none the wiser for the antics downstairs.

Gareth charged in, all a-glow, a beautiful smile cracking his face wide open.

"Ahhh.... it's great to be back home .. isn't it?"

Followed reluctantly by a rather grouchy Rhonda.

"You need talk, you don't have to go through this time and time again. It's not doing my figure any favours, nor is it helping me with my job promotions. Thank goodness I've only got a few days left before I turn elder. So you can wipe that stupid ass grin off your face once and for all."

Way to go Rhonda, let it all out, don't hold back will ya?????

Gareth in the meantime ignored her as he wandered further into the house. Yep, he's on a high, but that'll soon dissipate when reality hits him.... HARD.

More details on Timothy in the next update.

Catch - up Time

It's been a long while since I played this family. I 'discovered' them again, whilst looking through all my saved towns and decided to play them, see what happens next......

Poor Gareth. It was stupid, reckless, and yet he felt compulsed to do it. He knew the risks, especially getting the sharp end of Rhonda's tongue, but still, he went ahead anyway. Not that Rhonda was objecting either that is.

They decided to woohoo and try for another baby.
And succeeded.

Well, who wouldn't... with a physique like his.?????

GRRROWLLLLLLL!!!!

So now, here's Rhonda, waddling along, getting bigger by the moment, and feeling every familiar ache and pain that came from being pregnant. At least this time, there was only little Peter to fuss over.

Now isn't he a cutie? Just can't get enough of all that cuteness.

Peter is a FAST learner. He's mastered walking talking AND potty in next to no time!!!

Joshua and Alice had grown up so much that they were completely independent now. They get along fairly well.

However, Joshua seems to have a very mean sadistic streak in him. Just check out the 'shorts' on this kid. Do you suppose Joshua coerced or dared him to wear them???

All I know is that he's starting to gather his 'minions' together. Before long, he's going to have a little group together, just enough to cause some mischief and mayhem (cue the long awaited and anticipated Generations EP)

Alice, however, has proven to be a fantastic 'big sister' to Peter. Always wanting huggles and stuff, and Peter simply laps it all up. I can see her being the protective lioness here, should anybody try anything with Peter.

Although, I did have my misgivings about Rhonda and her mental/hormonal state. As one of her wishes... was to visit the graveyard!!! Out of morbid curiosity, I decided to allow her this really bizarre wish, just to see what would happen.

Obviously bored from watching the ghosts floating aimlessly around the tombstones, she decided it would be much more fun to explore the mausoleum. And all the time she was in there, I worried endlessly about the fact that she was fast approaching her time. It just wouldn't do if she gave birth, there and then in the catacombs deep in the underbelly of Twinbrook.

Speaking of which....

She'd just gotten Peter out from his nap and placed him in the high chair to feed him when those all too familiar pains started up... and her water broke. Right in front of Katie, who instantly fell into a helpless panic.....

Stay tuned to see what Rhonda has.....

The 'Twizy'

Those household bills getting you down?
Afraid that the car you're driving is affecting the environment?
Fear not, for help is at hand, with the brand spanking new Renault Twizy!!!

With it's um.... 'unique' design and boast about zero emissions into the atmosphere, your Sim is bound to be a lot happier driving one of these... er.... 'concept cars'.

Price: 5,200 Simoleans

Free choice of paint combinations.

Speed = 4 (whatever that means in Simland)

The only downside to this car is the fact that it's a single Sim ONLY.
Not enough room to fit an extra passenger.

Oh and forget the baby seat, that's a no-go area too.

But apart from that, this natty little vehicle is perfect for getting about.

Yours absolutely free from the Sims Store.

http://gb.store.thesims3.com/renault.html

**please note**

Does NOT sit on the parking drive like all the other cars.

No, seriously, Gareth and Rhonda decided that it was about time Katie had her own set of wheels. As she'd been so kind enough to give up her time to 'keep house' for them whilst they've been so busy with work and the kids. Oh and gadding about delivering packages etc.

Besides, the poor woman's starting to get a little stir crazy, cooped up in those four walls all the time. So a nice set of wheels is just what she needs.

After all, it'll be a lot easier to handle than that souped up beast that Rhonda owns.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Why???
Why????

Of all the things in the world..... WHY ME?!?!?!
Firstly it began with this.....

..... yep, Rhonda's pregnant... again.

What do you mean, I knew all along? *blinks*
Okay, you got me there, yep, I orchestrated the whole thing *snicker*.

At least Gareth's looking mighty pleased with himself.
Just you wait young man, it'll hit you like a twenty ton truck, you'll see.... you'll see...

But then, after playing around with the Lifespan slider, I discovered that Gareth actually married an OLDER WOMAN!!!!

I sincerely thought that she was a Young Adult like him. But nooooo, she's an adult, with 6 days left on her meter.

Which is good news.... in a way. As after this next baby, she's not likely going to be having any more!!!!

Oh goody.

Then THIS!!!

Please bring back Psycho Maid!!!! I don't want Mr Pedo here, working around Gareth's kids.... he's creepy.

Peter's Birthday

***WARNING!!!!! PICTURE HEAVY
AND CUTENESS OVERLOAD HERE***

Yep, it's time again, for another birthday, this time it's little Peter.
With just a handful of close family, they decided to celebrate together (and hopefully this will be the last baby for this growing family).

Rhonda tucked Peter into the crook of her arm and took him to the cake.

In a rare moment, we saw Joshua actually SMILING!!!!

Quick!!! Take a picture!!
What?
Oh yeah, we already did whoops!!!!

But big sis Alice looked glum. Perhaps she's starting to wonder about her teens?

Or the fact that ANOTHER toddler will be chewing the heads off the dolls in the doll house!!!!!

Out came the 'tooters' and party favours, as Rhonda helped Peter to blow out the candles.

Setting him down on the cold stone floor, they waited, eagerly, expectantly.

And with a whoosh of sparkles!!!!

Baby Peter became TODDLER Peter!!!

Along with a trail of stinky poo.

Apparently, because of the transition taking so long, nobody had bothered to change him beforehand and he'd soiled himself mid-transition!!!!

He wasn't a happy bunny, I can tell you.

But isn't he a cutie though? Yeah, I know the other kids are great looking, but Peter just ices the cake for me.

Clearly distressed, Katie scoops him up in mid howl, and manages to placate this little cutie, before taking him away to be changed. (pity they don't have the 'bathe' option any more)

I really don't know what she did .. or said to him, but as you can see, he soon got over his tantrum. I swear, that nanny is magical!!!!

His traits are (you'll be happy to know) Artistic and Virtuoso - NONE from either parent!!! I'm suspecting the milkman or the postman.... or heaven forbid... the MAID!!!!!!

At least he's not EVIL!!! We don't need another one of those in the house.

Gareth in the meantime, is NOW starting to feel his age and his neurotic trait is beginning to show through!! Bless him.

Could this be that it's his birthday just around the corner? Or that he is worried that Rhonda might be pregnant again?
