It appears that Joshua is NEVER happy about ANYTHING.
From the minute he wakes up, to the minute he goes to bed, he ALWAYS has a screaming session about something.
Honestly.
I have no idea what he's griping about here. He's been fed, fussed, potty trained, changed. His needs bars are all in the green.
Yet he STILL manages to pull out that 'pet lip' and make a hell of a racket.
Alice in the meantime, is so content in her life, that she's already chosen her LTW!!!!!
Yep, so soon.
She wants to be an Illustrious Author.
Which means that she's got to max out both her Creativity and Writing Skills.
Already, she's making a big impression with her paintings.
Her favourite (because she's got it hanging in her bedroom) is her 'Big Pink Fluffy Monster' picture.
She loves painting, and at every opportunity, you can find her standing at her easel... spreading oils/acrylics etc over the stretched canvas.
It's her homework she's struggling with.
Sometimes she is so tired and her fun level is so low, that she ends up getting vital sleep and neglecting her homework until the next morning, where she sits at the table, struggling with her sums and stuff.
And outside, the school bus is waiting for her.
Katie often helps out when she can, in between tidying the house, gardening, cooking etc.
Speaking of Katie....
.... she was showing some signs of stress the other day, and decided she needed to get into town to do a little 'shopping therapy'.
'Borrowing' Rhonda's car she took off downtown.
I wouldn't have minded but....
1) it's a big powerful machine that, if not kept under control... could spin easily and cause an accident
2) she could hardly see over the steering wheel!!!
Wonder what Rhonda would think about Katie taking her 'baby' out for a spin????
Anyways.... Katie bought herself a brand new cook book, and ended up standing outside the bookstore, totally enthralled in it!!!
Much to the amusement of passersby.
At least there ARE some things that keep Joshua happy.
Like....
Food.
Especially the 'messy' kind.
And the xylophone.
It's noisy, although the clapper is a little 'tasteless', it's good for those baby teeth that are coming through.
Rhonda does find the time to keep Joshua busy whilst Katie and Gareth are busy elsewhere.
Teaching him to walk is a fun task.
He looks so comical trying to balance on those little wobbly legs of his... but sooo cuuuuuuuuuuute too.
They couldn't really make do with just redecorating Alice's bedroom. So Gareth and Rhonda decided to redecorate Joshua's room too....
... in a jungle theme.
He definitely loves his tiger toy.
Gareth can't help keeping a close eye on Alice. Always tries to be up and about when she gets off the bus.
There when she's a little stressed out over something that happened at school.
Guess it's a 'parent's' instinct.
Poor Alice though, she hasn't been too well lately.
Katie made Gareth's favourite meal Hot Dogs, but was so exhausted from her daily chores that she forgot to put them away in the fridge for safe keeping.
Alice was hungry and decided to help herself to a few.
And ended up being sick.
Gareth can't seem to get enough of his wife.
When he gets the opportunity, he's always kissing and hugging her close.
Sweet really :D
