Something she hasn't quite shared with Gareth (as far as we know).
And now, as a 'new' (ish) family moves into the town.....
... her secret is revealed.
Before she met Gareth, she spent a lot of her time sneaking out of the house to go and see her favourite Rock God.... Mick Lassiter in concert.
She had all his albums.... posters were plastered to her walls (provided Ma didn't find them and rip them down first).
The only thing she didn't have....
..... was his autograph.
And it was on the off chance that Mick's agent agreed to organise a signing session outside the very theatre that she used to haunt.
Unfortunately....
.. at the same time...
... she'd developed an 'unhealthy fixation' on this guy.
As fans gathered, Rhonda quickly pushed herself to the fore front, just to be 'up close and personal' with Mick.
At first, she was totally and completely bowled over at the idea of meeting her idol face to face.
However, when he handed over the signed picture... without breathing two words to her...
.. she was more than slightly put out.
She'd used up her spare time to come all the way across town to meet him....
..... and he didn't have time to talk to her??????
I was completely surprised that she hadn't burned a gaping hole in the back of his head!!!! Judging by the glares she was giving him.
Nevertheless, he continued to sign autographs for everyone....
.
.. even a star struck little kid who gaped openly at him... with awe and a little fear.
Bless his little cotton socks!!!!
Sadly, Mick had to make a mad dash back to his waiting stretch limo. (or was it to get the heck away from Rhonda I wonder?!?!?!)
The signing session over ran, and he was late for his sell out concert at the Stadium!!!
At least Rhonda had some happy memories (and an awesome signed picture of Mick).
Shortly after that, she met up with Gareth..
And the rest... as you all know....
.... is history.
**PLEASE NOTE**
The introduction of Mick IS completely intentional, as I wanted to add him for a long time. For the more observant of you, you'll notice that this is the same Mick from the Living With Harvey story on Sims 3.com.
However, he isn't exactly the same Sim.
For a test, I installed Sims 3 base game onto my lap top and created Mick there. I hadn't realised that you could package and import him onto my main computer, so I recreated him for Living With Harvey.
Out of sheer boredom (and the fact that I couldn't pick up my main computer and take it downstairs), I decided to continue playing Mick until I'd achieved his Life Time Wish of Rock God.
That's when I decided to install him in my game on the main computer, and put him into Riverview (as a townie) just to see what would happen. ... and the rest (as we all know) is history!!!!
