Joshua, the Party Pooper

Time was ticking onwards in the Sim world, as we all know, and yes, there were some plans for another birthday bash.

This time, to make up for the lack of guests/organization - the last time, Rhonda and Gareth decided to throw Joshua his very first birthday party.

The guests were invited, the cake bought and paid for, the party time arranged, dress code all sorted, the venue fixed (at home in the back garden) ...

... it was just a matter of bringing the birthday boy to the cake, blowing a few tooters and making a racket with the assorted party favours.

And Joshua 'allowed' to blow out the candles.

And all would be well.

Sadly, for some unknown reason (a mad desire to see what would happen really), he didn't get to the cake in time.

And Timothy the Psycho Maid.....
.. beat him to it.




Well, with all the gusto they could manage (underneath the sheer horror of this guy taking over the party celebrations), all the guests and Joshua's family,




cheered as Tim blew out the candles and waited for the sparkles to herald the next stage of his life.....




.... as an adult....




Well, this REALLY put Joshua in a helluva mood, as he glared purposefully at Tim.

Slouching off, he realised his moment of glory had been stolen.

So, whilst he sat on his potty, wondering and plotting for all it's worth....
... he did the only thing he could.

Screamed the place down... with the biggest, loudest, most heartfelt tantrum ..



EVER.

Right in the middle of a packed room of guests, who all tutted and shook their heads at him.




Needless to say, he was soon shipped off to bed to cool down, whilst the party continued for a little while longer.

**PLEASE NOTE**
I discovered, when clicking onto the cake to set Joshua's birthday transition rolling.... that there was a list of other Sims all waiting for birthday transitions all the same time.

As long as that Sim is on your active Sims' lot, you can age them up!!!!

And sadly, because it took too long for Rhonda to find Joshua and take him to the cake to blow out the candles.... the next thing on the action list.... ..... was Timothy's birthday instead.

Joshua DID have a screaming session, only because he was tired and grumpy. But what a way to upstage Tim's birthday bash though.... throwing a MEGA hissy fit, right in front of everyone.

So be warned..... ... if you're organising a special birthday for someone..... make sure they're first on the action list.

Otherwise it's possible for someone else to beat them to it!!!!!
