Also after their brief meeting, it appears that Gareth is completely smitten!!!
He splashed out (pun not intended..... yet!!!!) on a brand new bath, ditching the shower as it was starting to run cold.
And he decided to change out of his trade mark black tee shirt and cargo shorts....
... into something more *ahem* 'sophisticated'.
But, with hilarious results!!!!
Prior to his wardrobe change, he had a little...
... well.....
.. more than a little trouble with the chest of drawers.
Apparently, the drawer got a little stuck, and although he put his whole weight into it and pulled hard, it just wouldn't budge at all.
But then, miracle of miracles!!!
It shot open, landing him on his butt!!!!
Well, he couldn't resist showing off his new threads in town.
Niiiiice suit!!!!
And, with the extra money he got from his promotion.... he decided to treat himself to a couple of hours at the spa.
But Laura (you remember Laura, the firefighter?) wasn't his only reason. He'd had an opportunity on the back burner for a while... to push himself whilst exercising, and that meant one thing and one thing only.
Sore and aching all over his body.
But then, after his lovely and relaxing treatment, he went back to square one....
and had a freak out session as soon as he left the spa.
*sigh*
Guess it was a matter of time. He hasn't had one for a while. Oh well, at least it's making him feel better about himself and his surroundings....
