Trouble At Home?

Once again, Gareth and Rhonda find themselves pandering to the demands of a baby and it's needs.... namely Joshua this time. Whose lungs are even stronger than his big sis Alice.

No sooner they go to sleep, he starts... waking them up at very random and unsociable hours.

Screaming his little lungs out and often, nothing would placate him.

No matter what they did, he'd be wide awake, glaring at the mobile dangling from the ceiling, plotting many ways to make life hell for his 'useless' parents!!!

Oh yes. This was indeed a baby from hell. Evil incarnate. Alice was a peach, compared to her kid brother.

Trouble was... with Gareth being the only breadwinner in the house.... for now.... money was a little tight. So any ideas of building an extension to their home, went right out of the window.

Besides, the insurance company failed to cough up for the last two claims. Their excuse was that these 'fire' incidents were deliberate, NOT accidental. So any claims were null and void.

Great.

There was another problem too. Rhonda's maternity leave was about to mature, so they'll have to make arrangements for either a babysitter or .... heaven forbid.... advertise for a Nanny.

Things had ground to a shuddering halt, with no prospects of moving forward at all.

On a lighter note.... however..... Alice is coming along in leaps and bounds. Already she's learned potty, and can hold a decent (albeit baby babble) with everyone. Which pleased Rhonda no end.

Especially now that she can read books too.

And now, thanks to Gareth's time, effort and patience.

She's finally learned to walk too.

Wonderful.

Now they have an adventurous, chatterbox in their midst!!!!
